Yes. RefluxD is sugar-free and gluten-free. It does not contain conventional sugars (sucrose, glucose, fructose).​

RefluxD uses a combination of four sweeteners:​

D-Sorbitol: a sugar alcohol, diabetic-friendly, does not cause rapid blood sugar spikes, and is metabolised independently of insulin.​

Saccharin Sodium Hydrate: a synthetic sweetener, considered safe for diabetic patients when consumed within recommended limits.​

Enzymatically Modified Stevia and Steviol Glucoside: natural sweetener from the stevia plant.​

The product is generally considered safe for diabetic patients when taken in appropriate amounts. However, it is advisable for patients to consult their doctor before use.

Yes, RefluxD (like other market brands) contains sodium as part of its antacid formulation.​ Patients on strict sodium-restricted diets (e.g., congestive heart failure, renal impairment) should consult a doctor before use.

Each 20mL dosage contains about 254.5mg of sodium. 

RefluxD contains calcium as part of its antacid formulation.​ Patients with conditions such as hypercalcemia, nephrocalcinosis, and recurrent calcium containing renal calculi should consult a doctor before use.

Each 20mL dosage contains about 260mg of calcium. 

Both act as antacids and help neutralize stomach acid, but sodium bicarbonate increases sodium load, which may not be suitable for patients on sodium-restricted diets (e.g., hypertension, heart failure, kidney disease).

Yes, RefluxD can be taken with PPIs and H2-blockers. However, it should be advisable to leave at least 2-4 hours interval between them to avoid compromising its effectiveness.

You may eat or drink again once your symptoms have subsided. However, do note that eating or drinking can disrupt the foam barrier formed by RefluxD, which may reduce its protective benefits.
